The organization seeks to find creative means of sourcing a specific protected area’s resources (be it natural, institutional, financial, communal or other wise structured ) to finance its continued existence as well as the design, development and implementation of management systems, in order to ensure sustained and effective biodiversity conservation. The organization also assists protected areas in providing adequate economic opportunities for the communities that live within its boundaries or next to it, as well as engaging and mobilizing communities to actively participate in Protected Area Management.
